I used the internet to find a blank version of the jeopardy game.  I used this to interact with the Health students and have them review their notes before a test and to make it competative and interactive.

My students love this game when I played it with them and it has helped test scores go up.

Blog #6

Jog the web...I have found that this tool allows me to save all my favorites to a website and not just a particular computer.  I have http://www.cnn.com/, http://www.engrade.com/, http://www.facebook.com/, http://www.ksdk.com/, http://www.kmov.com/, http://www.fox2now.com/ these sites will be useful to me during my practices with the students.

Google tools is awesome.  From the calendar that will sync all your other calendars to the documents that you can save and update right there online. This will help me greatly as I move from classroom to classroom.  The shortening the URL is helpful too as some URLs can be 4/5 lines long.  Google earth can help track a place from half way around that world.

blog #4

I like to follow news, sports, and weather.  I added cnn.com and weather to my gadgets to help me keep track of all that is current in these areas. I think I will be using igoogle more now that i am more aware with it.

blog Post 3

The two resources I use the most is http://www.engrade.com/.  This allows myself and students to have access to grades instantly.  I also use http://www.google.com/.  The students have lots of questions and when I don't know the answers. I find the answer quickly and effectively.

Blog Post 2

I teach PE, so our use of the internet is limited.  We do record the students grades online but no real active learning on the internet in our class.  We could use intentional learning during our heatlh units. The students could go to teenheatlh.com and do some online quizes.  Also authentic learning could be used during health class, we could given them a illness and they have to reseach the types of symptoms and treatment used to cure the disease.  Students could use constructive learning to build a powerpoint of their findings.  Cooperative learning have postings to a class blog about their projects.
